George A. Wooming, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist. He is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree. He holds memberships in the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Texas Medical Association and the Dallas County Medical Society.

Dr. Wooming was a U.S. Naval Officer and in 1992 served as the Head of Dermatology at the Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan. He completed his Dermatology residency at Howard University Hospital and then pursued a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at the Gulf South Surgical Institute in New Orleans, Louisiana. There he performed numerous cosmetic procedures, including tumescent liposuction, hair transplants, chemical peels, dermabrasion, sclerotherapy (spider vein injections) and all types of laser cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Wooming has trained in the evaluation and treatment of a variety of diseases of the skin, hair and nails. In addition, he has specialized surgical skills in cosmetic dermatologic surgery and is credentialed in all of these areas.

Dr. Wooming is presently on the medical staff at Medical City Dallas and Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, and he is a Clinical Instructor at UT Southwestern Department of Dermatology.
